Heritage Event Marketing | Open Doors

The Brief

Ruthin & District Civic Society commissioned Coya Marketing to increase tourism in the Denbighshire Area through the coordination of the International Open Doors Heritage Event.

Working with a range of stakeholders, Coya Marketing created a feast of marketing collateral both on and offline in support of the event. This included website creation, social media support, printed collateral and event management and large distribution channels.

Events

The Open Doors’ Heritage event is a celebration of architecture and heritage internationally and in North Wales. The event is designed to attract tourism and footfall to towns with heritage sites and to raise the profile of these locations.

Results

The success of the first event sent positive ripples through the North Wales community and the event has since become an annual affair with over 100 venues, walks, tours and events.
